Additions

Most addition projects also include some amount of remodeling. An addition must integrate well with the existing house, both visually and in plan; with our holistic approach, we look at the entire house and site as we assess the possibilities. We consider additions as an opportunity to either enhance the existing style of your home, OR to transform the house into something very different, especially in the case of adding a second story. We have designed (and built!) many second story additions and have deep knowledge of the particular challenges of this project type.
