The challenge here was to design a master suite addition to this Craftsman cottage without overwhelming it. We opted to add above the garage in back so as to maintain the small-house scale.
We tucked a potting shed, garden porch, sauna and outdoor shower under the addition above. With careful attention to small-space-making and Craftsman construction details, this little master suite addition has packed a lot of punch.
