Contemporary Remodel within an Historic Style

This was an exciting remodel challenge. The house is a true
Frank Lloyd Wright style which had been designed and owned by a former
UW architecture professor and student of Wright's. The new owner found
the kitchen too cramped and very dark, as was the whole house. Our remodel
intention was to be sensitive to the unique style of the house - using
natural materials and textures, yet providing an updated and functional
intervention. |
